Flying a Drone Near Metal Structures
What happens with our drones if we fly above, near, or inside a metallic structure or building?
FPV Safety is no joke. Drones, Lipo batteries, and flight styles can all pose a threat if not handled well. That’s why we want to write and cover all kinds of articles about FPV safety, including on how to keep your gear safe and avoid mistakes.

We all know the power of custom FPV drones compared to standard GPS drones when flying at high speed and doing quick acrobatic maneuvers. But this may come with several risks when flying an FPV drone. And one of them is by caused fire.
Goggles are an essential piece of equipment in an FPV kit, wherever we talk about DJI or other analog goggles.Â
But the goggles are one of the most vulnerable parts, and although now we don’t think much about keeping them safe, their safety is mostly related to how we handle and use them in the long run.
If you have a DJI FPV Drone, then I advise you to take care of your batteries and avoid damaging them as I did. I had learned from my own mistakes, and it was too late for me to research and study how to keep my DJI FPV batteries safe and avoid damaging them.
